Tell us a little about yourself and how you got into CrossFit?

I was gettin a little fat. My best friend had started doing it and loved it, sent me his workouts everyday, etc. so I gave it a shot and loved it!

What keeps you coming back each day?

There’s a unique level of challenge where I don’t feel I’ll ever have mastery of every movement and weight. So, movements and weights that I haven’t mastered keep me coming back. When those movements aren’t present in a workout, it’s a good opportunity to challenge myself to go even when the workout doesn’t fit my skill set.

What is your favorite at-home exercise to do?

If I can find a bar, I love pull-ups and push-ups workouts. Otherwise, thrusters and sit ups are my go tos.

If you had to do 100 reps of one movement (not running), what would it be?

Definitely sit-ups. Maybe 100 ft of handstand walls.

What are 1-2 of your goals for 2026?

I am aiming to continue squatting 1x/ week. I didn’t hit my weight goal in 2025, so I’m hoping to keep fighting towards that.

Also, would really like to get my cleans heavier. Maybe 225.

Consistently be at CrossFit 4x/ week.

Favorite lift:

Muscle ups, heavy cleans

Least favorite CrossFit movement:

DUMBELL BOX STEP OVER UGH

What would you most like to tell yourself at age 13?

Be more present and appreciative of the time spent with family, especially around the dinner table. Also, spend time creating lifelong friendships.

Lastly, get to the gym!!
