Brian Tavares
Coach Brian got into fitness at one of the first companies he worked for. They had a gym facility onsite he could use as lunch and a personal trainer on staff that you could consult with. He was making up his own workouts at the time and consulted with this trainer about trying to get super jacked. He looked at his workout routine and asked if he had ever heard of Crossfit. Brian did a quick google search and there happened to be a box right down the street from him. He signed up for a class and was instantly hooked. Brian's been pretty jacked ever since!
Brian enjoys coaching because it allows him to interact with the members more. He has had some interesting coaches along the way and wants to provide the best class experience he can when coaching. He strives to help steer people down the right path if possible early on in the process and encourage people to stick with it and be consistent. Being a little older now, he hopes it is motivating to others to see what he has done for a long time and still somewhat keep up with the young crowd. At least for round 1.
In his free time, Brian enjoys surfing, bbq and making small projects. Recently getting into CNC machining and trying to make keepsake gifts for people.
