Tell us a little about yourself and how you got into fitness?

I'm originally from England and now live in Charleston with my husband, two daughters, and our dog. I've always been into sports, but I found my love for fitness again after having my first child. It became my time to feel strong and like myself again, and it's stuck with me ever since.
What is your favorite thing about Nomad?
The people!!!!! Everyone shows up for each other, whether you're hitting a PR or just getting through the workout. It never feels like you're training alone.
What are 1-2 of your goals for 2026?
Get stronger on my squat and pull-ups, and get more comfortable with the running-heavy workouts I usually dread.
Favorite lift?
Back squat

What's the hardest workout you’ve done?
Anything running-heavy. Give me a barbell any day, but a long run in the Charleston heat humbles me every time.
Sauna or cold plunge?
Sauna
Hometown?
Corby, England
Favorite Charleston Restaurant?
Halls
What’s the most embarrassing song you know every word to?
Wannabe, Spice Girls
What is a positive habit you have picked up from the gym and how has it affected your life outside the gym?
Stretching before and after every workout. It's made me more aware of my body and helped me move better day to day, whether I'm chasing my kids or sitting through a long workday.

What’s one thing you’re currently really excited about?
Going home to England in November to visit family and friends.
What’s one thing that people would be surprised to know about you?
I recently started adult gymnastics!
If you could live anywhere in the world for one year, where would you go?
Honestly, right here. I love Charleston and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. A visit home to England is all the travel I need.
Who at Nomad would you want on your team during a zombie apocalypse?
Shanna, because she's one of the strongest women I know. The zombies wouldn't stand a chance.
Give us a “Question of the Day” to use in class.
If you could instantly master any skill (not fitness related), what would it be?
